I've been an anarchist most of my life although some would say I was a hippy before I was an archist - which comes first the chicken or the egg? I never realized this however, until I became acquainted with OWS and the writings of David Graeber. Even though I pride myself on my critical thinking, I was like so many other "believers"and thought anarchism was about bomb-throwing nihilism. Since nonviolence (but not pacifism) is one of my core values, I was delighted to learn the truth. The bomb-throwing nihilists are really the 1% and their political lackeys, shills and apologists. I've been participating in Occupy DC and the Freedom Plaza occupation and have to my great delight learned that there are a lot more anarchists than one would think. So here I am very excited to be apart of the black cat online community. At the present I am a radical homemaker and blogger
www.fearlessVegan.com One of the key subjects I write about (besides nonviolence) is patriarchal domination and oppression, so I'm very glad to see that this is a focus of your discussions.
