Which Berlin demo was that? It's strange to see people that actively masked up.

There's usually several :!:

Mayday demos in Berlin, all with a relatively large attendance. There's the trade union DGB march, a mayday alliance one, the revolutionary 1st of may one and then sometimes spontaneous ones (I think there was an attempt at a large one of these in the evening to try and break the monotony that is Berlin's mayday including the traditional rioting/theatre piece, I'm guessing that's what the photos are from though it could be the revolutionary 1st of may demo, reports seem to say it's been more violent than previous years which would seem right as there's reports of higher police injuries and arrests than last year). There's sometimes even anti-nazi demos, which there seems to have been this year too.

WE (MACG) are there in 2 photos.
Note that May Day in Australia is not a public holiday and the union etc rally and march held the first Sunday after May 1st.
But in this blog you can see some May 1st mobilisation in Melbourne on the day.
